You are a vital part of MPS
All of our employees are here to serve the young people of Mesa — to teach or to support learning and to be a significant someone in the life of a child. There are many ways you can make a difference, too:
Stay in touch: Get involved with your school and access information on education issues.
My MPS Parent Portal: Monitor your child's grades, attendance and other education-related information from your home or work computer.
Volunteer: Apply at your child's school.
Join other parents: Become a member of the Parent-Teacher Organization or Booster Club at your school.
Visit: Call ahead to request a school tour, a classroom observation or a meeting with the teacher. Attend back-to-school nights, open house, parent conferences, concerts, curriculum nights, reading celebrations and other special events.
Register for classes: Free workshops focus on student achievement, child development, discipline, stress management, family relationships and much more.
Write yourself a lower tax bill: Determine how part of your state income tax is spent by making an extracurricular activity donation. Dollar-for-dollar tax credits are available.
Learn more about MPS: More information is available online, on television and at school board meetings. Call us at (480) 472-0000, or send us an email.
