Welcome to MPS Web Services
Web Services manages and maintains the district's public web server as well as the Intranet web server. Our mission, as a division of Information Systems, is to support MPS employees in the use of web-based technology.
For the past eighteen months, our primary responsibility has been the development and implementation of Architeck, a Web content management system (CMS). Architeck is a dynamic, multi-user CMS that provides for the creation of basic web pages, dynamic calendars and news feeds, as well as custom applications such as MPS Phonebook, Space Integration Module, and much more.
In cooperation with Educational Technology, Web Services is in the process of training and migration of all schools and departments to Architeck. At present, our system hosts over 3700 users and more than 78,000 web pages.
Web Services also provides general web and technical support to the district and maintain's the district's Web content filter.
