Dear Stevenson Families,

We are off to a great start and I am looking forward to a great school year.  I have met many parents during “Meet the Teacher Night” and I am looking forward to meeting many more.  I have an open door policy and I will always make time to talk to you.  My direct phone line is 472-9048.  Feel free to use it at any time.  I am here for you and our children. 

Here is just a little information about myself.  This is my 13^th year in education and my 7^th year at Stevenson.  Prior to administration I taught at the 5^th and 6^th grades at another Mesa school.  I have three boys one in high school as a senior, a third grader and a four year old at home.   

My philosophy is simple.  If we work together: students, parents, and the community, our students will become successful members of society.  I expect our students to make mistakes; the only thing we can control is what we do when we encounter these mistakes.  All we can hope for is that we and our students will learn from those mistakes.  If we are patient and supportive of one another we can better our school community and students. 

I believe in giving our children every opportunity to succeed in this educational environment.  Your support in all aspects of their educational life is invaluable and we are counting on seeing you often on the campus.

At Stevenson we pledge to provide the best possible education for all of our children.  We care about your children and will strive to provide the quality that will make Stevenson the best.  We will keep you informed of school happenings and we urge you to communicate your needs and concerns to us.
