Biography

I've been teaching at Stapley since 1995 in the History department and have taught all grades, 7-9.  Born and raised in Tempe, I graduated from the "Mighty Mac" McClintock in 1983.  Living at home and sponging off my parents, I graduated from ASU in 1989 with a degree in History, focusing on Military and Presidential Assassinations.  A few years later I enrolled at NAU and obtained my M.Ed. in English and Education.  Using my Journalism and English knowledge, I then enrolled at LaCrosse University and earned a Ph.D in Communication.  As for future studies, I haven't decided but I'd like to take some Spanish classes or something that would help me in the classroom.   

As for my family life, I just celebrated my 13th wedding annivesary and my daughter is now  in third grade at Kyrene Del Mariposa.  My wife is still working at Jobing.Com, so Go Jobing!  I'm still teaching at MCC one night a week, however, my newspaper gig at the Republic ended two years ago so I'm always looking for a writing assigment.  I'm still collecting soda stuff and have attempted to go bottle digging a few times but the ground is too hard and I haven't found anything.  I'm going to buy a metal detector, so that should help me find something!     

Last year I started to learn guitar and I've benn Jamming on my Strat since then.  I'm not very good but I try my best!  One day, when I'm really old, I hope to be playing with Eddie and the boys!
