Biography

Originally from southern Illinois, after 30 years in Mesa I  consider myself an Arizona native! Married with two sons, my husband and I are easing into "empty nest syndrome".  We love to travel, read and spoil our 1 year old shih tzu mix, Bella!    

Both my undergraduate and graduate degrees are in Education and were earned at ASU. I am highly qualified to teach Social Studies and Reading.  After 19 years as a school Media Specialist, I am back in the classroom teaching American History to 7th grade and loving it!
