 I am originally from New Mexico and moved to Mesa in 1992. I graduated from ASU with a degree in Elementary Education then continuing my education, received a mathematics specialist and middle grade endorsement. I taught for Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and Blind's Early Intervention Program for 7 years before becoming a classroom teacher in 2003.  This is my 3rd year at Stapley (the best school to work for) and I am looking forward to having a great year!

I have two incredible children and a water turtle named Sunny.  My daughter is a junior at Mesa High and a varsity cheerleader.  My son is a 6th grader at Mesa Academy for Advanced Studies.  He plays basketball and studies karate (he just earned his black belt in January 2009).  In my spare time I enjoy traveling, sports (watching and playing), reading, quading and spending time with my family.
