Biography

I graduated from high school in Pennsylvania, and moved to Arizona in 1970 to attend Arizona State University.   I received a bachelor’s degree from ASU in 1974 and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration in 1985.  My family are all currently either attending or teaching at schools in Mesa.

This is my first year at Stapley JH, but I have taught for 30 years.  I have taught in Mesa Public Schools for 27 years, the Balsz District for 2 years, and 1 year in the Scottsdale school district at Coronado HS.  In addition to teaching math and social studies, I have taught general music and band at the college, high school, junior high and elementary levels. 

I am pleased to join the staff at Stapley, and look forward to working with some of the finest students in one of the best junior high schools in the United States.
