Biography

This is my second year at Stapley Junior High and I am excited to be continuing as a Sabercat.  I have been teaching in Mesa Public Schools for the last 16 years.  Prior to that I worked for the Mesa Family YMCA in youth and family programs. 

I grew up in Mesa (Nathan Hale, Poston, Mt. View) and I find it rewarding to be part of the educational continuum in my community.  I have a Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University in Secondary Education and a Master's degree from the University of Phoenix in Diverse Learner Education.

This is the newest member of my family (pic on left); his name is Mischief, because he is in to everything.  The handsome black cat is named Beau.
