Biography
I was born and raised in a small town in Northwest Ohio. I moved to Mesa last summer, and I am loving Arizona. I graduated with my bachelors in Middle Childhood Education with an emphasis on Social Studies, Mathematics, and Reading. I attended The Defiance College, which is a private liberal arts college that has approximately 900 students. The small atmosphere created a very personal experience.
There is a job shortage for teachers in Ohio, so I decided to venture out into the world. I have family in Arizona, so I decided to move and start my career. My brother is a pilot and he is working towards his commercial pilot's license in Arizona.
I enjoy snow skiing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. I really enjoy teaching, and I am happy to be teaching in MPS. I believe a person should always continue to learn, and I plan on starting my masters in Arizona in the next year.
