Cadet Band / Percussion

The Cadet Band, or the percussion class, consists of 7th grade percussionists only. In this class the students learn about basic rhythms, note-reading, and other music theory practical for them to play percussion instruments. The students also learn how to perform on a large variety of percussion instruments and prepare music for their concerts, which will be performed with the Prep Band.
