Intermediate Band

The Intermediate Band at Stapley consists of primarily 8th grade students who have been playing their instruments since their 6th grader year, but it also includes 7th grade students who are proficient enough on their instruments to play in an advanced ensemble.

Students in the Intermediate Band learn basic music theory and musical concepts that will help them to perform traditional and new band music at each concert. The students also learn about playing techniques specific to their instruments.
