Booster Club

Our philosophy is: parental involvement and parental presence on campus contributes to the success of Stapley Jr. High School. Parents can do many things to foster school unity and school spirit. As we work together, we promote the growth of our children.

Booster Club meetings are held on the 2nd Wed. of each month at 9:30 AM. (with the exception of Jan. 14 and Feb. 11, the meeting will be at 10 AM)

Stapley Spirit Shirts
Stapley Spirit Shirts are on sale ($12 each) in the office.  We have adult
sizes too, so parents, show support at basketball games by wearing our
Stapley Spirit Shirt!

Book Fair
Kathy Smith is still looking for volunteers to fill a few shifts at the Book
Fair this week.  The shifts are: Tues. Nov. 18th  2:00 - 4:00, Wed. Nov.
19th 2:00 - 4:00, Thurs. Nov. 20th 11:00 - 2:00, and Fri. Nov. 21st  8:30 -
11:00, 2:00 - 4:00.  If you can help out during any of those times please

Honey Baked Ham-Turkey Sale:   Did you get the flyer about the Honey Baked Ham/Turkey sale? Orders are Due By Wednesday November 19th by 10:00 a.m.  Please drop your order off at the office or have your Stapley Student give it to any teacher.
      Make Checks payable to 'Stapley Booster Club'
      Pick up will be Wednesday November 26th at Sapley's Front Office from
3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
           Don't forget your order must be picked up at that time.  Orders
cannot be held beyond that time.

Candid Photos of 9th Graders Needed! 
At the end of the year, we will celebrate three years at Stapley for the 9th
graders.  Lisa Knowles has been  shooting and collecting photos to compile
for a video slide show of their three years - and they have really changed!
If you have photos of your 9th grader from anytime during their 3 years at
Stapley, Lisa would love to add them to the compilation. The more the
better! Please email them to  Lisa at Knowleslm@hotmail.com with 9th grade
photos in the subject.  If you have them on a CD, you could leave it at the
front office with Lisa Knowle's name on them.  They will be collect until

December:

Box Top Collection December 5th
Have you been saving box tops?  Well now is the time to send them in.  Julie
Green, our box top coordinator, will be collecting all the box top donations
from the teachers on December 5th.  So, if you've been saving up, send them
in with your Stapley Student in the next couple weeks.  This is a great
fundraiser without a whole lot of effort.  Thanks parents and keep saving
those box tops.

Sonic Night
Mark your calendar for our next Sonic Night.  It'll be on Wednesday,
December 10th from 6-10pm. Sonic will donate 10% of ALL sales to Stapley
during these hours!

January:

Calling For Volunteers for Bulletin Boards
Have you seen all those GREAT bulletin boards in the halls of Stapley Jr.
High?  Did you know that the Booster Club hangs the materials on most of
those boards?  It's just another way that the Booster Club helps our
teachers and our school.  But... We need your help to make it happen!
Please set aside January 6th 2009 to volunteer to help with the bulletin
boards.  I our next update we will have exact times.  Or if you have any
questions, Joni Neilson heads up this committee, and she can be reached at
480-325-7597 or email at jnielson9@cox.net.  If you can help on January 6th,
Joni would love to hear from you.

May 15 - 9th grade party
