Sirrine's Vision

Sirrine Elementary is a supportive community comprised of students, teachers, parents, administration, and the surrounding neighborhood, all working as a team to make our school a happy, healthy, successful learning environment.  Everyone is valued and trusted as we strive to create an “Our School” mentality.  We have created an excelling school comprised with students who take pride in their learning, school environment, and themselves, and caring professionals who seek the best means possible to help students reach goals and objectives.  Parents play an active and vital role in developing the minds and habits of our students by reinforcing the following successful habits: attending school on-time and regularly, completing homework promptly, and by developing an attitude of always putting forth the best effort each day.  Parent volunteers and our active PTO strengthen our school community and are committed to helping students and teachers reach higher levels of success.  At Sirrine, student responsibility is developed through student centered instruction and is rooted in a connected K-6 curriculum.  Our curriculum delivery incorporates large group, small group, and individualized instruction.   Sirrine also seeks to develop the whole child through focusing on positive social skills and a strong arts/athletics emphasis developed through music, art, and physical education programs.  Sirrine Elementary is a school in which we all take great pride.
