Hello,

My name is Ray Mercado and I was born and raised in the Phoenix area.  I have 4 children and I am married to a fifth grade teacher.

I graduated from the University of Arizona (Bear Down!) and received my Master's Degree from the University of Phoenix.

I have taught World History and Government at the secondary level.  I was an assistant principal at Carson Junior High and principal at Carson.

I look forward to working with the staff, students, and parents this year at Shepherd.
