Salk Elementary uses a variety of communication tools to keep parents and students informed about student progress, school activities, and general educational information.
Scorpion Scoop - Principal's newsletter sent out monthly.
Meet your Teacher/Curriculum Night- Students and parents meet the teachers and teachers present curriculum information to parents and discuss educational goals for the new academic year.
Parent Teacher Conferences - Twice a year, once in October and once in January. This allows parents and teachers to discuss students' progress and concerns.
Report Cards/Progress Reports - Prepared by teachers and sent home quarterly.
MPS Parent Survey - Allows parents to provide feedback regarding their level of satisfaction with Salk and Mesa Public Schools; generated annually.
