Theatre Arts II

Theatre Arts II is a unit based class that delves into specific areas in more depth as opposed to Theatre Arts I that focused on production elements.

This semester in Theatre Arts II we will cover:

• Reader's Theatre/Theatre History
• Puppet Theatre History and techniques
• Theatrical Make-up
• Scene Study/Shakespeare and realism
• Commercial Auditions
• Stage Combat
• Musical Theatre
• And much, much more if you call within the next 15 minutes

Student Responsibilities: 

• Be on time
• Be prepared
• Be appropriate
• Be positive

Class Requirements:

1. Portfolio
2. Stage make-up kit
3. craft supplies to build puppets etc. (Some items supplied by instructor)
