Red Mountain's StRUT program takes computer donations and refurbishes, upgrades, and redonates them to schools and non-profit organizations through our affiliate, AZ StRUT.  We take all equipment, working or not.  If we are not able to fix it, we use the parts; or we give the equipment to our official StRUT recycler, Westech Recyclers, so it does not end up in the landfill.  Please know that all personal data left on your system is totally erased so you can feel assured that no personal data will go out on any system.

You may drop off your donation any school day between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the main lobby of our school.  You may ask the receptionist for a tax donation form if you are interested. 

If you have a large number of systems to donate, please contact me to make special arrangements.  We take anything related to computers--towers, desktops, laptops, LCD screens, monitors, keyboards, mice, speakers, printers, fax machines, small, table-top copy systems, software, cords, and components (don't forget the power adapters for your laptops and printers!).  We do not, however, take large, non-working copy systems, televisions, microwaves, radios, or cell phones because the program is about fixing and upgrading computers.
