Biography:
Mrs. Kupferer earned her Bachelor of Science at Purdue University with a biology and chemistry major and a math minor and a Masters in Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Since then she has added physics and agriculture to her repertoire. She has taught for over 25 years at various institutions including Lindenwood University, Deaconess Hospital, St. Mary's College, Wright City Junior and Senior High School, Chandler High School, Mountain View High School, Taylor Junior High and is proud to be teaching science and agriculture at Red Mountain High School.
Mrs. Kupferer has been married for over 31 years to her husband, an electrical engineer and manager for Boeing; and they have two adult children. Her son earned a chemical engineering degree from University of Arizona and her daughter earned her Bachelor in Nursing from Northern Arizona University. Her son-in-law has recently completed his second tour of Iraq and will be starting on his bachelor degree in engineering in January.
