New this year! District policy changes regarding withdrawing from classes!!

Following are the new guidelines when students drop a class:

• Within the first ten days of school - students can drop/add classes for full credit.

• Beginning the 11th day of each semester through the last day of the 1st or 3rd quarter - students can drop a class, however, no classes can be added for credit. Dropped classes with be added to the student's course history with a "W" for withdrawal. No impact on the student's GPA.

• Beginning the first day of the 2nd and 4th quarter - students can drop a class, however, the student's course history will indicate the class as a "WP" (withdrawn passing) or a "WF" (withdrawn failing). A "WF" is counted in the student's GPA as an F.

• No classes can be dropped within the last 20 days of each semester.
