Biography

I was born and raised in Berling, Germany, where I attended German schools throughout elementary school.  Immigrating to the United States has taken me from South Carolina across the country to Mesa Arizona, where I attended Westwood High School in the late 70's.  I received my Bachelor's from NAU with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.  My teaching career started in Mesa 21 years ago with the opening of Red Mountain High School in 1989.  I have also taught at Poston and Stapley Jr. Highs before returning to Red Mountain in 2000.  While at Red Mountain I have taught General Chemistry, CP Chemistry, Biology and AP Biology.  I also have three children, all Red Mountain graduates, with two of them returning to Mesa to be science teachers.
