I am originally from Philadelphia, Pa. In 1979, after receiving Bacherlors Degrees in Math Education and Computer Science from Penn Sate University, I moved to the Washington, D.C. area and worked in the computer industry for a number of years. I moved back to Philadelphia in 1985 where I started my teaching career at the Yeshiva, a private school for orthodox Jewish students. In 1993, I moved to Arizona and was offered a math position at Westwood High School starting in the fall of 1994. I taught there for one year, was transferred to Brimhall Junior High, then returned to Westwood for 10 years. I transferred to Red Mountain in 2006 and have really enjoyed my tenure here.
When I'm not working on lesson plans or grading papers, I'm playing piano and keyboards at many different venues in the Valley, including the CC Ryder Express Band with Bob Crispen on saxaphone, the principal of the Mesa Academy for Advanced Studies.
