Purpose: To help Sudanese refugees assimilate into the American culture; to broaden the knowledge of members about the warfare in Sudan; to indulge in new cultures with turmoil; to increase empathy toward those in need; to have projects and assemblies to share the wisdom learned with others; and and to raise money through benefit events
Discussions: Converse about who these refugees are, where they came from and their country’s past and current history; how we can help them now in the present and in the future; to also discuss what is happening in Darfur and how we can aid them too.

Activities: Tutoring in all subjects needed, tailgate, car wash, LB Christmas party
(December), African Month (January), LB birthday party (March), and other
various activities that may come up.
