The Professional Development Department 

is comprised of a Director, Professional Development Specialists, and support personnel who:

• maintain the Professional Development website and registration system;
• maintain the Professional Development library;
• oversee the implementation of the Acquired Knowledge Module program for teachers new to Mesa Public Schools;
• coordinate and monitor professional learning opportunities for certificated and classified personnel.

Our staff welcomes the opportunity to support you in your efforts to enhance your skills and knowledge base and acquire additional instruction and assessment tools, techniques, and strategies aligned with MPS Curriculum Standards, and performance criteria identified in the MPS certified and classified evaluation instruments.
