Biography

Hello and Welcome to Room 15

     Let me introduce myself.  I am from Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa with an Elementary and Special Education Degree.  My husband and I moved to sunny Arizona in 1981 and have loved living in this state since that time.  I have 5 wonderful children and 7 grandchildren!  I love spending time with them.

    I have taught at Patterson since it opened 11 years ago.  I started out in Kindergarten and taught at that grade level for 5 years.  This will be my sixth year teaching 2nd grade and I love it!

   I want you to know that I strive to teach the State Standards to the best of my ability.  I want your children to become life long learners. As the year goes by more information and links will be posted on this web page.

  I love the words by Abraham Lincoln and I hope my classroom will always emulate this saying--

   "Whatever you be, be a good one"
