Welcome to Mendoza

We hope that this will be a ready source of information about our school. Know that guests and parents are always welcome to check in and tour our campus.

Each time of day and season brings new sounds and sights as birds nest, and/or roost in our trees or as our gardens bloom, bear the makings of fresh salsa or rest waiting for cool fall temperatures. Our courtyard offers a waiting wall for parents and guests who want to enjoy the shade of a large tree. Our pond is a spot enjoyed by the very youngest of our visitors and the oldest. Many months of the year we are hosts to desert tortoises and to cockatiels. We learn how to help care for these special residents. We are proud of our ongoing efforts to improve academic performance each year. This means that the needs of not only the best and the brightest, but that also the needs of our struggling, non-traditional learners must be met. We feel very fortunate to have some outstanding staff and resources to help us in this mission. Our parents and volunteers comprise another huge asset to our program. Their countless hours, activities and support of the classrooms and school facility cannot be measured in terms of dollars or time. They are best measured in the relationships and camaraderie that makes Mendoza a special place to be.
