FREE Parent University: Nov. 12 and 19 -- Setting Limits Without Guilt -- 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the Madison Media Center. PLEASE be sure to register at 472-7278 or www.mpsaz.org/parentu. This workshop is about setting limits with the useful tools provided. Learn the secrets of being both firm and fair! Learn what is developmentally appropriate for your child's age. Learn the power of self-control Shift from fear to love. Babysitting may be provided -- reservation required (472-8857).

It was a DAY MADE BETTER at Madison!
As part of A Day Made Better, Office Max surprised Rhonda Adams, first grade teacher, at Madison's schoolwide Character Counts Assembly. Brandy Rousset, Office Max Representative, presented Mrs. Adams $1,000 in prizes, including a leather chair, digital camera, color printer, and miscellaneous classroom resources. Every year, according to the company, teachers spend an average of $1,000 of their own money on classroom supplies. On October 6, Office Max presented $1,000 worth of merchandise to 1,000 teachers nationwide. We are so proud of Mrs. Adams and her dedication to our school!
