Biography

    Mrs. McConnell was born and raised in Rochester, New York. She attended  the University of Arizona, but received her degree from Arizona State University. She also received her Masters Of Education Degree from Northern Arizona University.

    Mrs. McConnell has been teaching elementary physical education for 26 years, all of which have been in the Mesa School District. She has taught at Washington, Hale, Falcon Hill and Las Sendas Elementary Schools. During those 26 yeas of teaching Mrs. McConnell has been very honored to have received Educator of the Month and two Student Services Awards.

    Mrs. McConnell is married.  Her husband Rick  teaches Social Studies at Dobson High School in Mesa and is also the boys varsity basketball coach. They have two boys.  Matt (23) was drafted by the Phillies this summer and Mickey(20) plays basketball for Saint Mary's College in California.
