Biography

Hi! My name is Melanie Clark.  I am one of Irving’s Specific Learning Disability Specialists.  I work primarily with grades Kindergarten through 4^th grade.  I have been at Irving for nearly my entire teaching career.  I started out teaching 1^st grade at Irving 19 years ago.  Other than switching to special education, I haven’t gone too far. 

I have a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education/Special Education and a Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education – all from Northern Arizona University.

I love working with the kiddos and look forward to working with parents as well to enrich and improve the skills that your children have and those they will need as they move forward in their lives.
