Welcome and thank you for taking time to visit Irving’s website. Here at Irving we strive to provide the best instructional experiences we can for our students. My personal goal for students and staff at Irving Elementary School is to promote a climate that fosters intellectual and creative growth, emotional and physical development, and social responsibility for each child and adult. 

At Irving, every child has a right to be academically successful, by receiving grade appropriate knowledge and skills, as well as exposure to instruction that challenges the mind and body. Student achievement through physical activity, fine arts appreciation, scientific experimentation, and historical discovery are also promoted. The needs of the whole child – intellectual, emotional, social, physical, and ethical are provided via a balanced elementary program.

The Irving community expects that we foster a spirit of excellence, respect, creativity and the joy of the learning for the students that we serve here at school. We do this with a highly qualified and innovative staff that works in partnership with home and the community.
