Secondary School Counseling Program (Grades 7-12)
Through classroom lessons, small group activities, and school-wide programs and interventions, our school counselors ensure that ALL students benefit from our school counseling program. Our role is make make certain that students have the academic, career, and personal/social skills they need to be successful.
Some of the things that our community can expect from our district-wide secondary school counseling program are:
- Educational and Career Action Plans (ECAPs) for every student (powered by Kuder)
- Guidance lessons concentrating on academic and career planning
- Guidance lessons concentrating on reducing substance abuse and violent behavior
- Transition programs
- Encouraging students to take a rigorous schedule of career ready courses
- Targeted student interventions
