Biography

I grew up in Mesa and attended school at MacArthur Elementary, Kino Junior
High and graduated from Mountain View High School.  I received my teaching
degree from Arizona State University and was hired by the Mesa School
District in the fall of 1994.  I began my teaching career teaching junior high PE at another Mesa junior high.  I left the junior high in 2001 to teach Adapted PE to special needs students in the region around Mesa High.  After teaching Adpated PE for 6 years I became the Dean of Students at two Mesa elementary schools until the position was eliminated after the 2009 spring semester.    I begin my tenure at Fremont with excitement.  I feel lucky to be a part of a wonderful staff and teach the students here at Fremont Junior High.  Please feel free to contact me with any concerns.
