Biography
Although I was born in southern Illinois, I grew up here in the valley. Upon graduating from high school, I enlisted in the United States Navy. After serving four years, I returned to the valley and began my educational pursuit. My Bachelor of Science degree was earned from Grand Canyon University, and my Master of Education degree was earned from Northern Arizona University. I have now taught for 11 years in the 5th through 8th grades.
My family is, of course, extremely important to me. I have two children; my daughter is attending ASU, and my son is a senior in high school. My husband and I enjoy spending time camping and attending NASCAR racing events. I am looking forward to a fantastic school year.
