Biography

I received my bachelor's degree in upstate New York (Oswego State College) in both French and Psychology. My senior year of college was spent in France where I studied at the famous Sorbonne University in Paris! When I returned home to the states, I was interested in studying Art, so I  enrolled in art school in Vermont (Johnson State College)  and enjoyed skiing! I  then came to Arizona (where some family lived) and received my BFA (Bachelors of Fine Art degree) along with my teaching certificate in both French and Art. My first year of teaching was part-time in Art  here at Fremont in 1987 and then I went on to teach full- time at Rhodes Jr. High in both French and Art. I am starting my 22 year of teaching and am excited to increase our enrollment in the Arts!
