Biography:  I was born in Manhattan, Kansas and grew up in Cupertino, California and Gilbert, Arizona where I graduated from Highland High School.  I attended Arizona State University for both my bachelors and masters degree.  Before teaching I was a substitute teacher and an advisor for teachers continuing their education.  My husband and I have a pug named Diego, as well as two cats, Charley and Joey.  Some of my hobbies include reading, watching movies, traveling, photography, and spending time with my family.
