A tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar reduction in the actual tax owed.
For example, if you owe $800 in state income taxes and you donate
$400 to a public school for extracurricular activities, you may subtract
the $400 from your tax bill and pay the state just $400.

Grade: K-6
Activity: All grades at Field Elementary School utilize ECA monies to help fund field trips. The dollars help support busses, admission, instructional materials and insurance. The field trips provide students with a variety of hands on experiences. It takes about $400 to begin to arrange busses for one grade level to travel approximately the distance of the Phoenix Zoo.
Grade: 4-6
Activity: The band and orchestra programs at Field use ECA monies to help pay for the rentals, purchase and repair of musical instruments for students that could not otherwise afford to participate in these programs.
Grade: 5-6
Activity: ECA funds support technology and computer lab upgrades. We utilize the computers for after school computer and video club. Students learn how to photograph, edit and compose video for a Video Yearbook recording the events of the school year.
Grade K-6
Activity: ECA Funds support Chorus, Geography Club and “Jump On”, a physical fitness jump rope club.
