“Grow with the Falcon Hill PTA”
The PTA would like to welcome you to Falcon Hill Elementary. We serve as a voice for all children and strive to bring together the school, parents and our community. The PTA is a strong advocate for the education and well being of every child. Your membership empowers the National PTA to speak on behalf of our children and youth in schools. Come grow with the PTA by participating and supporting us during fundraisers, family fun events and monthly meetings.

A Message about the PTA from the President……………
Welcome Back! Our new Falcon Hill PTA Board has been busy working this summer planning for the new school year. We have planned some exciting activities and programs for the 2009-2010 school year. All we need now is you! Volunteers are what help to make our school special. There are many ways to get involved at Falcon Hill. Your support and participation are the keys to Falcon Hill and your child’s success.
Joining the PTA allows you to be a part of this learning environment and your child’s school in a way that adds tremendous value. While everyone is not able to commit their time in volunteering, you can still be supportive by joining the PTA.
This year the money raised by the PTA will go to upgrade and supplement our schools technology. We are hoping to purchase Smart Board Stations for the school. Each station consists of a laptop computer with a large projection screen. These stations allow teachers to use current technology to enhance a students learning experience. In order to fund our lofty goal in such a bleak economy we will be holding two fall fundraisers. We are hoping the Falcon Hill Community will embrace these fundraisers and help us raise the funds we need to purchase this equipment.
Due to the fact that we are holding two fundraisers in the fall we will not be able to accommodate a fall festival. In place of the fall festival, we will hold a Spring Fling. If you have any suggestions, ideas or can volunteer any amount of time please let us know. In order to put this event on we are going to need lots of assistance. The only way the Falcon Hill PTA can succeed is with the help of volunteers, people like you. If you are interested in volunteering at our Spring Fling or various other PTA events, please contact the PTA at falconhillpta@yahoo.com or call 480-472-8600 option 5.
I am personally inviting new and returning Falcon Hill families to become PTA members and attend our monthly PTA meetings. Your membership in PTA is the best way to stay informed about our school and updated on the latest issues that affect our children.
