Curriculum for Gifted High School Students
During their high school years, Mesa Public School students who have been identified as gifted are given a variety of opportunities to participate in rigorous curriculum activities:
- Advanced Placement classes in core subjects (English, history, government/economics, calculus, and biology), foreign languages, art, music and other subjects
- International Baccalaureate program (Westwood High)
- Dual enrollment classes through Rio Salado College - student may receive both college and high school credit
- Programs focused on Health Sciences (East Valley Academy)
- Programs focused on Science and Technology
