Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to Edison Elementary, where we are, “Launching Lifelong Learners!”  I am tremendously proud of the staff and students at Edison.  Each day in our classrooms, you will see children engaged in meaningful learning experiences.

The instructional program at Edison is based on the Arizona State Standards, which are implemented through a clearly defined curriculum set by Mesa Public Schools.  Through collaborative teamwork, data analysis, and strategic planning, teachers are able to deliver high quality instruction in order for each child to experience success at school.  

Edison staff is dedicated to creating a strong partnership with parents and the community.  There are many ways to become involved in your child’s education at Edison.  Organizations such as Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and Edison School Advisory Council (ESAC) are great ways to make a difference.   Edison also hosts several family and academic related events throughout the year in which you can take part.  Your involvement and input are valuable components to our educational community.

Your child’s education is our priority.  Throughout the day, teachers and staff meet the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of our students through a structured, safe, and learning centered environment.  Edison staff is
