Attention Soph. Jr. and Seniors
Any young lady or young man interested in cosmetology, there will be a meeting on Dec. 3rd. Please get a pass and information ahead of time from the counseling office.

Spring Semester Schedule Changes
Attention students - Now is a good time to make sure you have the right classes for your spring semester. Visit the "My MPS student portal" and log in using your User Name and Password. From there, click Class Schedule and then click Spring. If you're registered for the wrong classes, please set an appointment with your counselor to make a schedule change.

Clubs

FED
There is a FED meeting TODAY, Nov. 23 at lunch. We need to talk about binders and Christmas projects!! These both require lots of work, so even if you've never come to a meeting before, feel free to join us!!

Photo Club
All 8x10 for art show are due Nov. 25th. The art show date is Dec. 3. The next meeting will be TOMORROW, Nov. 24th.

Environmental Club
All members must pay for their shirts before we can pick them up. Please pay your $10.00 in the bookstore, and get a receipt. You can turn in your receipt to any environmental club officers.

Cantus

Dobson Marching Band
Come watch the Dobson Marching Band perform at a Phoenix Sun's games on Dec. 5th. Tickets are on sale for $35.00. Proceeds support their China trip. Contact the band office for tickets.

Sports

Girls Tennis
Attention girls interested in playing varsity or JV tennis in January!! An information packet from Coach Veeh is available that contains everything you need to know about tryouts and the upcoming season. Please pick this up from Mrs. Koch in the front office as soon as possible if you are interested in playing on the Dobson team this year.

General

Staff and Students
There will be no library book checkout or book renewal on Wed., Nov. 25 (the day before Thanksgiving) due to a district library software upgrade. Thanks for planning ahead and checking out items in advance.

Campus Clean Up
ROTC is putting in approximately 80 student hours every fourth Friday picking up trash and debris on the school grounds during A hour. Please do your part and don't litter our school. If any other students or clubs want to participate with ROTC; we provide the trash bags. We will announce our next campus clean up in the Messenger.

Stop the Spread!
Just a reminder that the H1N1 flu is still very prevalent in our state and county, so don't forget to continue to practice good hygiene to keep yourselves and others healthy! Cover your cough with your upper sleeve. Clean your hands often. Keep your hands away from your face. Don't share drinks or food (or saliva!). Stay home if you are sick; do not return to school until you are fever free for 24 hours (without fever reducing medication)
