Performance Pay Program
The Mesa Public Schools Career Ladder program is a performance pay program begun in the 1986-87 school year as a result of Arizona legislation (A.R.S. §15-918) and an approval vote by Mesa educators.
The program was restructured in 1994 to include an optional incentive component, thus increasing the focus on contributions that all MPS employees make to the success of all students.
