Carson’s Cafeteria has an excellent work program. Student workers must be 14 years of age, have an A/B average in classes, especially Math, have less than eight absences for the school year, and have an available elective. Working 9 th grade students will receive classroom credit and 8 th graders will receive a grade. All earn a salary of $4.75/hour, a complimentary lunch, and fundamental job experience. Junior High Breakfast prices are $1.00 a day or $5.00 per week and at no cost for those who qualify for reduced-price meal benefits. Lunch prices are $2.00 per day or $10 per week and $.40 a day or $2.00 per week for those students whose families qualify for reduced-price meal benefits.
