Thank you Mr. Cousteau!

The students and staff of the Mesa Academy would like to thank Mr. Philippe Cousteau, grandson of Captain Jacques Cousteau, for visiting us Thursday, August 27th, 2009. Philippe currently serves as the Chief Environmentalist for Discover Education. He also works with Discovery Channel and Animal Planet on various ocean and water - focused documentary programs.

As a member of the legendary Cousteau f amily, Philippe is continuing the work of his father and grandfather through EarthEcho International. Philippe engaged Academy students in the awe and mysteries of the aquatic - from the majesty of our oceans to the critical issue of clean drinking water!
